Top 9 Astrology Books for Beginners

I have had a lot of people ask me where to start if they want to get into astrology. I canโ€™t even recall how many times I have recommended the same books. They arenโ€™t in any particular order because they are all very well done. Even as a practicing astrologer, I will still reference these. I feel they all provide a firm foundation of information along with a bit of guidance and activities to apply, process, and retain the information.

Astrology: A Cosmic Science

Author: Isabel Hickey. This is a solid reference book. She covers all the basics, planets, signs, symbols, zodiac, houses, aspects, etc. She includes a table for essential dignities- to tell the strength or weakness of a planetary placement. She also has interpretations/delineations for planets-in-sign, planets-in-house, and aspects.  She briefly touches on birth chart calculations, transits, and progressions. I mean she even writes about decanates. Overall, a great place to get a taste of the astrological landscape. Availability: Paperback, Kindle (e-Book)

The Inner Sky

Author: Steven Forrest. Learning astrology is like learning another language. This book takes you on journey on the syntax of astrology. This is NOT a boring or dry read, but it is a relatively easy entry point towards understanding. I find it packs a punch, he has a way of simplifying the basics and guides the way to constructing your own astrological sentences. It is well structured and methodical without being dense. How do astrologers create their interpretations/delineations? Planets in signs and houses. Aspects, rulerships (essential dignities), and the moonโ€™s nodes. This book explains it, mystery solved! Availability: Paperback, Kindle (e-Book)

The Essential Guide to Practical Astrology

Author: April Elliott Kent. This book has a delightful modern voice. She has a simple and fun way of expanding on the basics and introduces you to additional concepts that might feel โ€œover your headโ€. In addition to the traditional basics, she touches on concepts such as house systems, asteroids, non-planets, orbs, and retrogrades. There are guidelines for making daily, monthly, yearly, and long-range planners to apply to your personal goals. She covers astrological syntax, transits, solar arc progressions, and much more. This book really does have the essentials and is practical for applying the information. Availability: Paperback, Kindle (e-Book)

Astrology for Yourself

Authors: Douglas Bloch and Demetra George. This is an introduction to astrology via workbook style. This book will help you to understand your natal chart. If you are ready to put in the work, this is an excellent starting point. They provide a step-by-step approach and assist you with creating your own interpretations. There is space to journal in for your reflections and insights, so you may prefer the physical copy. Availability: Paperback, Kindle (e-Book)

Astrology and the Authentic Self

Author: Demetra George. After you are comfortable with the syntax and knowledge of the basics. This book will introduce you to her techniques and model approach. She outlines traditional astrology guidelines while approaching it in a modern way. It covers concepts such as determining the condition of a planet, relationships, vocation, and secondary progression. There is a section on how to delivery the information in a professional and concise way via astrological counseling. My copy of this book well worn. Availability: Paperback, Kindle (e-Book)

The American Ephemeris

Authors: Neil F. Michelsen and Rique Pottenger Reference book. While there are plenty of online or digital ephermisโ€™ available. There is something so intimate about looking through and working with a physical copy. This is a book of tables, that show you where the the planets are each day, and at what degree. This includes information for eclipses, new moon, and full moon. If you want to know your astrological weather, this is youโ€™re number one resource! Availability: Paperback Only

Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune

Author: Chris Brennan. This book is a great introduction to the practice and philosophy of Hellenistic astrology. He provides techniques with a very clear and concise structure to take in and apply. There are a lot of footnotes and resources to which I appreciate because you can always dig deeper yourself. There are basic, intermediary, and advanced techniques presented in this book such as, annual profections and zodiacal releasing. This is definitely a good one to add to your personal library. While the book is large, it is an essential for those who want to understand some astrological history. Availability: Paperback Only

Planets in Transit

Author: Robert Hand. This is a solid reference book in regards to planetary transits. Some might call it the ‘transit bible’. It is comprehensive catalog of delineations or interpretations of all major transits. All of the planets in addition to the midheaven, ascendant, and houses. There are 720 of them in total. Both professionals and beginners can get loads of use out of this book and can assist with unfolding transits to your natal chart. Again, my copy is well worn. Availability: Paperback only.

Parkers’ Astrology

Authors: Julia Parker and Derek Parker. This book is a whomper. Itโ€™s really big so but it contains all the things that you need to know to cast the chart by hand if you wanted to. This is an older book so this was prior to the boom of the Internet, but it is colorful. Nevertheless, its wisdom is still needed. I primarily enjoy this book for the modern techniques it provides such as harmonics, midpoints, natal interpretation, synastry, composite, location astrology, etc. It basically gives you a range of astrological techniques to study and experiment with. Still want to cast charts when there is no internet? Then this is your tome. Itโ€™s definitely a classic and one for the resource library. Availability: Hardback, Paperback

Closing Remarks

So these are the top 9 astrology books, I tend to recommend over and over again. Most of them you can find on Amazon. If you were to keep a small library of books- all of these should be on your bookshelf. Astrology books should not be a one time reading but a source of references you can can look to for clarification when you are working on something or want to get into new territory. I warn you now these are the gateway books to the life-long-ever-lovin’ study of astrology.

BONUS: I MUST mention, if youโ€™re someone who would be interested in psychological astrology, read any and everything you can get your hands on written by Liz Greene. Her “Seminars in Psychological Astrology” series is a great place to start. She utilizes psychological concepts through a lens of mythology. Content you can really sink your teeth into and chew on. She is also the author of the Mythic Tarot guidebook, to boot!

If there are any comments, questions, or suggestions that you would like to add, let me know in the comments section!

Tarot Tidbit: Working with your Year Card

One thing about your year card. It is an archetype for you to explore and become more in depth with. Donโ€™t scratch the surface and believe thatโ€™s what it is for the whole year. There are 365 days worth of nuances to explore.

๐Ÿฆš Look at the surface. Look at the symbols. Dig deepโ€ฆ. just keep digging.

๐Ÿฆš Learn about the various intensities of those energies. How might they manifest via low intensity? Extreme? Now split the difference.

๐Ÿฆš How can you use the energies to your advantage? As a key of wisdom to guide your year?

๐Ÿฆš What colors might they inspire you to wear?

๐ŸฆšCopy their posture, how does it make you feel?

๐Ÿฆš What zodiac or planet does your year card correspond to? Research it. What rings true to your life experiences thus far?

๐Ÿฆš Where do you recognize this archetype in movies or books? Explain it and how you feel about it in a general sense.

The possibilities are endless.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”
Some personal examples:

During a Devil year – I began a weightloss journey and was chained to my restrictions. The discipline helped me to break vicious cycles and learn about my โ€œdemonsโ€. I learn deeply about my boundaries setting them with myself and others.

During my temperance year – I learned to moderate my time better between personal vs social, work vs life balance.

Chariot year – I got out of my comfort zone. Made loads of new friends and traveledโ€ฆ alot!

Have fun!

My top 5 go to TdM styled decks of 2019

Lets jump right in. Most of the decks below have a slightly smaller size to them besides the Trionfi. Which feels really good to shuffle with and make excellent travel companions. Additionally, I appreciate the quality of the card stock on all of these.

1. Tarot de Jean Dodal de Lyon (5th ed.) by Pablo Robledo

Out of all of the classic TdM style tarot decks, this is my absolute favorite. I love the way the art is and the styles of the faces on the characters. It tickles me but also rings true towards capturing the essence of a reading. I cant get enough of this deck and need to find a back up copy as soon as possible. I cannot see myself living without this one.

2. Flamand Vandenborre by Pablo Robledo

Also known as the Flemish Tarot. Bacus also replaces the Pope for Key number 5 in this deck. I happened to find this one by happenstance. It is quirky and fun and the minor arcana pips are not in a standard tdm format there are numbers in the center of some cards. It took a little bit of experimenting to get used to reading with this one, but because I can quite figure it out and because it feels odd enough I keep on coming back to it.

3. Tarot de Marsella by Pablo Robledo

This deck is just a classic Conver based TdM. It is great to teach with and compare my other decks to as a baseline reference. It is essentially a gold standard. I adore this deck and it was awarded the Historical Deck of the year back in 2013 by Tarot Association.

4. The Spanish Tarot by Fournier

This is a Liguria-Piedmontese woodcut deck. Radical color differences in both minors and major arcana alike. The introduction to the color purple is unusual for this style of tarot deck. The cards are naturally ‘weighted’ so you do not have to mark your cards for those of you who like to read reversals. When I want to stray from the typical color palette and shuffle with the intention of reading reversals this is my go to deck of this school.

5. Trionfi della Luna by Patrick Valenza

Trionfi della Luna. Monsters in our mists, a strange dream world where humanoid figures roam the terrain of a pipish land. This modern re-envisioned TdM stlye decks reads like a storybook. The structure of the original art style; tips its hat to the historic land of TdM decks. This deck is really so fun to read with, after all when we are going through struggles and hardships it is not hard to feel like you are some kind of humanoid dream monster navigating on this earth. Here but out of place somehow. This deck has a lot of miles on it, I simply cannot get enough.

If you want here is a video of my go to Tarot de Marseilles style decks of 2019 and a brief audio version of why.

Buying your First Tarot deck and Where to Start?

The age old adage of “use what works for you” and “use what you are attracted to” had been beaten to death. As true as it is, I always feel the underlying basis of this question comes from someone looking for a bit of foundation as in– “Where do I even start”?.

I always like to make the distinction that are are roughly three camps of tarot that is typical as a “foundation” for people. These are your big three camps. Many modern decks are derived or influenced by one of these three:

The oldest, Tarot de Marseilles or TdM for short.
The popular, Rider Waite Smith or RWS for short.
And the infamous esoteric Thoth Tarot.

Now, here is an important distinction to make before you run off and purchase a deck.

Tarot de Lyon de Jean Dodal by Pablo Robeldo

TdM has a long history and purist may not consider all pip decks (pips meaning the minor arcana is non-scenic) as a true TdM. This is because some versions were not created in Marseilles, but in other places like the Noblet 1650 is from Paris, Dodal 1710 is from Lyons, and Conver 1750 is from Marseilles. Conver is the most popular of the TdM decks. There are many out there. Furthermore, there are some books available on the market and do a good job at helping you to get going with readings. If you happen to speak French I believe that opens more avenues for books.

Pam’s Vintage Tarot by GameCrafter

Do you want a lot of written material on the tarot deck you purchase? If so, you would probably want to go with a RWS based deck as this has the most written about it, hence its popularity. There are hundreds of RWS editions and clones available on the market. You cannot go wrong here.

Thoth Tarot by Aleister Crowley

Thoth is Thoth same as with TdM, there is a limited amount of books written for this but the resources available are fantastic to get you going. There are a small amount of Thoth based clones on the market but many of them are lovely. Additionally, the minor arcana are ‘pipish’.

Now that I am off my soapbox, here is a video I did with my deck and book recommendations for beginners:

In this video I discuss an overview of the three tarot traditions and some resources to help get you get started on your way. All of the decks I showed can be found on Amazon at reasonable prices.

What’s Up Weekly – Insights Aug 26th-Sept 1st 2019

Sidereal Stargazing:

The main transpersonal planet getting triggered this week is a retrograde Uranus in Aries. Embrace the unexpected and roll with the punches. Venus in Leo trine Saturn Rx in Sagittarius, warm harmonious sweetness lures the worker bee. There is beauty in nature, yet it is always working. Find something recreational to work on to allow Saturn to get his fillโ€” as he is in detriment in the sign of Sagittarius.

Its been inspired and rough but now youโ€™re entering a new chapter where there is steady success and support available. This new chapter bring a curiosity and lust for life. The expressive actions of Will and adventure, with the page of wands appearing. What’s Up Weekly – Insights for Aug 19-25th, 2019

Sidereal Stargazing: Prolific Push

On the 19th of August the Sun ingresses into the Royal sign of Leo, the place of its Dignity or Rulership. The shift from the mother to the father, from the home to the vocation. The fixed candle in the heavenly sky, sends heat and warmth, putting us into a state of creative bliss. Stroking the ego and awareness of life in all its consciousness. The center of our humble solar system has returned to its sovereign element.

On the 21st, Mercury in Cancer trine Jupiter in Scorpio. Commerce and intellect regarding matters of the heart, plays well with expansion of ideas that have been long tucked away. The details of the big picture come into focus and there is opportunity to hash out a plan. Just don’t throw the baby away with the bath water, really explore all the ideas that come to you even if they seem unusable at this time, they may work themselves out later down the line, so save and store these ideas somewhere.

On the 23rd, the Leonine Sun squares the Taurian Moon. A creative spirit has friction with the sensible soul. This dynamic aspect brings the opportunity to accomplish that feat without breaking the bank. There are more rewards in creating your own and getting recognition from it than outsourcing. You are worth it. Where can you be practical and resourceful to accomplish a harmonious solution? Both planets are in dignity, the results may prove to be showstopping and fruitful.

On the same day the planets of love and war unite, with a Venus/Mars conjunction in Leo, where they dance until the 25th. The passion and impulse to love is freely available. Passions are high, desire is strong, the urge of creative expression is unusually potent. If not creative in the sense of the art, projects, or vocation; it may be the urge for establishing union with another, be it marriage, procreation, or partnership of some kind. Utilize and harness this intense energy wisely, know what you are capable of adding and manifesting into the mix– and instill accordingly.

Cardcasting: Quest for Change

The Knight of Swords rides on a quest, gaze fixed on the objective in the distance. Calculating and swiftly approaching and targeting the next move. Get off your ass and make a move now. Banter and quick wittiness may prove to be a skill to use this week in order to clear the path and bring upon the seed of the next new brainstorm as indicated by the Ace of Swords. Be mindful not to do anything that would cause harm to yourself. Allow the intellect to guide you when you are overtly in your feelings, to maintain the balance since there looks like there will be a err of high passions running high. Spark the seed of clarity when it comes to ideas and goals. Use your old skills, learn some new skills, and give yourself a pat on the back for being willing to learn something new that can be applied to your ever-evolving being. Be adaptable in order to survive– for the only constant in this life is change. Stay sharp.

Have a Blessed week! ~ Nya

What’s Up Weekly – Insights Aug 12-18th 2019: Astro-Knots

Stargazing Trends: Emogenius

The week begins with an emphasis on our spiritual link to others and the sensitivity felt when attempting to connect, with the Sagittarian Moon activating Neptune via sextile and the Dragon’s Head via opposition on August 12th. Dragon’s Head (Rahu) is exalted in Gemini, there is a compulsion to experience life through the intellect, if given the chance. Neptune is still in a tight trine to Rahu this week, so these energies are on the hazier and cloudier side of things.

Furthermore, a moment of presence, stillness, and shift occurs as Jupiter stations Direct at 19ยฐ Scorpio and Uranus stations retrograde at 11ยฐ Aries. The Sabian symbol for 19ยฐ Scorpio is “A parrot listening and then talking, repeats a conversation that has been overheard”. This infers to a sense of spiritual channeling for some, for others it may be that you are able to transmit knowledge that holds truth to your faith or education. Here is the need to integrate the messages from your subconscious into your higher consciousness. In a negative respect, this can mean gossip or ignorant repetition of information. Be sure you get receipts where you can.

The Sabian symbol for 11ยฐ Aries is “The ruler of a nation”. This infers a time to expand your base of operations and show you have the necessary energy to get things done. It is a great time to bring a sense of discipline and order to the area of your life in which this degree is located in your natal chart. In a negative respect, this can indicate overbearing energy.

The Sun/Venus conjunction in Cancer is still at play this week. Self expression through the arts, a home renovation projects, and the like can get the ideas out of your head without allowing yourself to become to idealistic or lost in the fantasy.

The Full Moon in Capricorn on the August 15th, is about learning about the consequences or rewards of your own actions. There is no hand holding or scapegoating (no pun intended). Just a good look at what is working and what is not. Let go of the bad habits that no longer serve your purpose.

Sudden news and sudden cognition present itself today with the Aquarius Moon sextile Uranus and Cancerian Mercury square an Aries Uranus. Astuteness, persuasion, and innovative dispositions show themselves here on August 16th.

On the 17th, the Aquarius Moon conjoins with Neptune, making your dreams and feelings seem more prominent. The subconscious goes from spinning like a top to performing cartwheels. I’d say keep a look out for any vivid dreams or unexpected synchronistic phenomena– it could be rather telling of your innate genius. Perhaps this can be encouraging to life path momentum with Luna trine Rahu today.

Some Karmic lessons are sure to present themselves this week, as the wandering star triggers are all รฆtheric, astral, and heady.

CardCasting: The Path Less Traveled

Spirit Keeperโ€™s Tarot (Vitruvian edition) by Benebell Wen

This week’s tarot advice presents us with two Major Arcana cards. The Hermit (Erudite in this deck) and the Emperor. There is some need to let the machismo lead the way– what I mean by this is to sit in your power, not passively but actively playing a role in the direction your life takes and leading the way.

The Hermit can be a loner but the wisdom gained by engaging the road less traveled, makes for a wonder of stories and life experiences to share. Don’t be afraid to walk in your truth even when it seems dark; your inner light will guide the way. Sharing the details of your life stories may shine a light for others, which has the potential to make clearer their own journey. The hermit is also known as the wise one and don’t be surprised if people ask you for advice.

The Emperor places emphasis on the Uranus station in Aries. When you have to take the lead and make unique decisions, the Emperor is urging you to wield your decisions and choices with discipline, focus, determination, and conviction. Again, leading the way to some new frontier and stepping into it with authority and vigor. The path less travel has potential for gaining reign and sovereignty– just remember to wear your armor, in preparation for another notch towards your wisdom belt.

Have a Blessed week! ~Nya

What’s Up Weekly – Insights Aug 5-11th 2019: Shine Theory

Stargazing: Abundance Consciousness

Self control is the name of the game with the Virgo Moon square Saturn in Sagittarius on August 5th. Time to put the final details on the big exploratory projects. This aspect is well off for the public platform, yet may introduce some strain on the home front, aptly a sense of isolation. Thankfully, Moon aspects move rather quickly and would been a feeling in passing rather than a longer theme. Keep focused on the matters at hand.

Have you heard of shine theory or abundance consciousness? Try applying this to your world and see how it fairs. The aspect of the Cancerian Sun trine Jupiter in Scorpio Rx brings these themes into the light August 6th. The Will to expand, to give and receive recognition, successful thinking, and a good mode of expression are readily apparent and available. You may be vigorously jovial and communicative. Good news of some kind may be expected with Mercury’s ingress to Cancer. When you shine, I shine. When you succeed, I succeed. There is more than enough resources to go around.

Arriving at finding inner balance… spirit and soul, vitality and feelings, and spirit and mind, with the Cancerian Sun square the Moon in Libra on August 7th. If there is a struggle, its more internal than external and perhaps some delegation around the home is in order to arrive at pleasant medium. You may even decide to change your home decor to become more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Today the Sun Squares Jupiter which may add a touch of friction, which naturally brings excitement and movement to this realm of ‘shiny’ experiences.

Intellectual stimulation through emotional triggers can be found with the Scorpio Moon trine Cancerian Mercury on August 8th. Perhaps there is some gossip or exposure to criticism. Don’t sweat the small stuff and let it roll off your back. The truth always comes to light, so let the haters hate and eventually it will blow up in their face. Most likely this is coming from the darling aspect of Cancerian Venus trine a Scorpio Jupiter Rx, the display of a loving nature, happiness, and optimism. Keep your wits about you and strive to see humor in the nonsense.

A Sun/Venus conjunction in Cancer on August 10th, makes things feel warm and fuzzy and can be felt until August 17th. Perhaps, listening to some tunes while exploring some artistic expression is called for. Likewise, you can go for a walk in the park and enjoy the nature. (I am hearing Jill Scott’s “Long Walk” and “Golden” songs in my head for this aspect). Now, I am not one for over-optimism but find a way to do things you enjoy as this aspect seems apt for such ventures, find it’s intrinsic inner values and enjoy yourself.

Here comes the revolution! Increased excitability, ambitions, and attentiveness to your instincts are highlighted with the Moon in Sagittarius trine an Arian Uranus, on August 11th. Determination to pave your own unique path is emphasized and it feels right. Additionally, there can be a potential for sudden change to one’s circumstances. Ride the roller-coaster to the galactic center and take some friends with you. A new adventure awaits.

*Stargazing is done using Sidereal zodiac

CardCasting: Cut to the Chase

Advice this week from the Tarot is about making some boss choices. The associated letter to The Lovers is Zain which means ‘Sword’. Wielding a sword as a tool is a responsibility that requires quick wits and quick thinking. Sharp decision making is represented here. Once the choice is made, your story moves forward. Are you in it for instant gratification? Or would you rather amend the choice for long term gains? The bigger picture here is the need to be upfront and forward about your needs and requirements. Do not passively accept less than you deserve.

This theme is echoed with the Queen of Swords (in this deck it is called the Scarlet Shield) showing up. Straight talk is your best line of defense this week. Cut straight to the heart of the matter, deal with it and move forward. On the shield there is an eagle devouring a serpent which symbolically represents victory over your adversaries. Speak your truth with conviction and hold fast to your position and watch how it manifests.

Have a blessed week! ~Nya

What’s Up Weekly – Insights for July 29- August 4, 2019: Cast a Charm

Stargazing Trends: Show Love

Sun/Venus conjunction week presents us with an opportunity to show gratitude and appreciate. Sincerity and development of furthering the development of your social expression in a creative and nurturing capacity may be highlighted.

Both the Sun and Venus are Square Uranus which adds a dash of spontaneity into the mix. You may be surprised to learn how others show their love for you. Each person has their own original way of showing love. Remain open-minded enough to accept gestures and be enterprising enough to show your own. Walk around this week dignified in your charms.

More Sun and Venus aspects to add to the stew with them both in trine to Chiron. Heal others during their uncertain moments. All you have to do is hold space. Active listening and acknowledgement should be sufficient in allowing others to work through their any issues they may have. Genuine respect and/or gratification is gained here should the opportunity present itself. Usually, when compassion is shown, everyone wins.

New Moon ingresses to Cancer midweek. Start from where you are. The pressure is on to get long term projects off the ground and build toward them. When things look bleak, don’t give up. Look for the hidden opportunities. Break down artificial barriers and alliances. Dreams become reality when you have a game plan. Set some goals, do your best to get out of your feelings and into your body. Take the steps forward and make the dream work, as we still have the ongoing Neptune trine Nodes.

Midweek, Mercury stations Direct in Gemini, things should begin to normalize especially if you are sensitive to this shift. If communication was quickly falling apart this station should amend and quickly rebuild broken links and qualms, bringing understanding into play.

As the week ends, the Moon in Leo trine Pluto will give us the fire we need to charge forward to make needed changes with others, be it business partners, colleagues, close friends, and/or family members. It could be a simple as pulling together to reach a long term goal and achieving it. Give it that last push!

*Stargazing is done using Sidereal Zodiac.

Cardcasting: Third time’s a Charm

Three of Cups: Let the rays of sunshine fill your cups with laughter and community. Dance the dance, drink the wine, eat the fruits, and share the wisdom. Sometimes we would rather go at things alone, the cards (and the stars) are urging you to find solace in your community. Share your feelings, speak your truth, and work together towards a common goal. Celebrate and relish in the momentum of the “fateful trifecta”, Spin, Dispense, and Release. You are the weaver of your destiny. The synthesis and unity of these processes coalesces into the realm of realization and understanding.

Three of Disks: The first taste of progression being made as you weave your tapestry, the foundation being established. The pattern begins to unfold and become visible- tangible. The crystallization of its innate powers. The first bearings of matter which ultimately becomes your great work. Although, further work will need to be done, here there is enough motivation to continue to proceed through to the end product, even if you take a tumble. In the very famous words of our fallen Aaliyah, “If at first you don’t success, dust yourself off and try again”.

Queen of Spades: Is here to remind you, while yes, it is a time to show love, it doesn’t mean everything is love and light all of the time. She is here to say “That’s a bunch of bullshyt!”. Life has made you tough as nails, and there is still a strange isolation even when you are surrounded by friends and family. Guess what, it’s a pretty normal experience for most people. That doesn’t mean clam up- just be practical. It means do what you have to do, no matter how you feel– it’s discipline. It is time to use your magic and charms, sometimes dark humor is the best humor because it is a showcase of what experiences are real. Shared experience makes for like humor in most cases. So, the Queen of Spade is a notice, to beware of hidden agendas and to pay attention to your surroundings. Let sheer determination pave the way forward.

Notable: We have a three three’s! Three of cups, Three of pentacles, and 12 (1+2=3) The Queen. Three is the number of synthesis and unity, it means you probably learn the hard way but success and fortunate can be found through allowing yourself to lean on others a bit. A common goal IS desired and team work makes the dream work!

Have a Blessed Week! ~Nya

News and Updates: Weekly Skylights

The weekly skylights have been enjoyable to write but I foresee there being an ebb and flow of what the ‘weekly skylights’ will look like moving forward– a shift if you will.

I am currently behind on some natal chart readings so I must play catch up and get those done. Some of my guinea pigs have volunteered to allow me to share chart findings here, and I am so grateful. Names will be kept anonymous for privacy sake. So look forward to some of those hitting the blog in the upcoming weeks.

However, I don’t want to stop the weekly message… Therefore the weekly skylights may need a name change in which I can easily shift focus from tarot or astrology according to what my intuition is calling me to focus on that week. Even better, lets be real, according to life demands. Basically, I am still showing up and getting it done. I want to let this evolve organically.

I will probably just call them ‘Weekly Insights’ in the interim because that is just an easy default.

Any other ideas for a name for the Weekly Tarot and/or Astrology post? How have you been enjoying them so far?
